Anokiwave Names Ian Gresham as Chief Systems Architect

Boston, Mass., September 6, 2022--Anokiwave, Inc., a provider of highly integrated IC and Active Antenna based solutions for millimeter-wave (mmW) markets, today announced the latest addition to its executive leadership team with the appointment of Ian Gresham to the position of Chief Systems Architect. Gresham will report directly to Chief Executive Officer, Robert Donahue.

As Chief Systems Architect, Ian’s primary role is to drive the key performance indicators (KPIs) at the system level. In turn, he and his team are the main drivers of the features and functions in our new product development. Prior to assuming the Chief Systems Architect position, Ian was an Anokiwave Fellow, and Vice President of Systems Engineering where he was responsible for capturing new 5G mmW business opportunities, developing working relationships with key customers, and to provide overall systems expertise to the company.

Dr. Gresham joined Anokiwave in January of 2014 and brings more than 30 years of microwave and millimeter–wave experience in the semiconductor industry taking projects from fundamental research through to high-volume production in the commercial wireless, automotive, and aerospace and defense market segments. In addition to his publications and patents, Ian has been recognized in his career by winning the 2003 European Microwave Prize and being the recipient of the IEEE MTT-S Outstanding Young Engineer Award in 2006. He is a Fellow of the IEEE.

“Ian is uniquely qualified to drive our future systems and product architecture within Anokiwave, having made significant contributions to all generations of our mmW products” said Robert Donahue, Anokiwave CEO. “Ian has developed a unique understanding of the importance of our customer 's problems.  As a result, we have the strongest portfolio in all our target market segments.”

Dr. Gresham received the B. Eng and Ph. D degrees in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from the University of Leeds, U.K. in 1988 and 1994 respectively.
