Senior Executives from Europe and North America Join the WTA Board

New York City, NY,June 9, 2021–The World Teleport Association (WTA) today announced the election of four new members to its Board of Directors for three-year terms beginning April 1, 2021. They include:

  • Lorenzo Ronzitti, Head of Commercial Satellite, Telespazio
  • Susan Saadat, Vice President Americas, ETL Systems
  • Rob Weitendorf, Vice President, Business Development, Lepton Global Solutions
  • Lesley Wilson, Head of Satellite & Gateway Services, Arqiva

In addition, the election returned one board member for a second term:

  • Jay Bloom, Head of Ground Systems, Amazon, Project Kuiper

Continuing to serve on WTA’s Board of Directors are:

  • Ron Busch, Senior Vice President, Network Services, ABS Global Ltd.
  • Jay LaPrise, SVP, Global Transmission Operations, Encompass Digital Media

Directors on the WTA Board serve three-year terms, and are elected by the membership.
