Globecomm Founder and CEO David Hershberg to Retire

Hauppauge, NY, February 7, 2014-Globecomm Systems today announced the retirement of founder and Chief Executive Officer David Hershberg. Keith A. Hall, President and Chief Operating Officer and 17 year veteran of the company has been appointed CEO, effective immediately. Mr. Hershberg will serve as a consultant to the Board of Directors of the Company for special projects. 

 

Tom Arseneault Appointed COO of BAE Systems

SSPI Honors Maj. Gen. Martin Whelan and Assistant Secretary Madelyn Creedon With 2014 Stellar Awards

New York City, February 5, 2014 – The Society of Satellite Professionals International (SSPI) announced today it will honor two government leaders with its annual Stellar Award for Government Service.  Maj. Gen. Martin Whelan, Director of Requirements, Headquarters Air Force Space Command, Peterson Air Force Base, and Madelyn Creedon, Assistant Secretary for Global Strategic Affairs, U.S. Department of Defense, will be honored during the Stellar Reception prior to SSPI’s annual Gala Dinner on March 11, the opening night of the SATELLITE 2014 Conference, in Washington, DC.  The Stellar Awards honor service to the United States Government using satellites and satellite technology.

Avi Cohen, CEO of RRsat, named 2014 Teleport Executive of the Year

Board Changes at International Datacasting
