Africa Cup of Nations Football Championships Broadcast via Spacecom's AMOS-5

Tel Aviv, Israel, January 19, 2015--Spacecom (Tel Aviv Stock Exchange: SCC), the operator of the AMOS satellite fleet, today announced that it has been selected for the third consecutive time to provide broadcast services on AMOS-5 at 17°E for the Confederation of African Football's (CAF) Orange Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), Africa's bi-annual football championship competition. The competition is being hosted by Equatorial Guinea and is taking place from 17 January through 8 February, 2015.

It transmitted the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic games from London to Africa, the South African Super Rugby Games and the Nedbank Golf Challenge, Africa's top international golf tournament.
