Muscat, Sultanate of Oman, June 30, 2020 – SpaceBridge Inc., a privately held Canadian corporation and manufacturer of High Throughput Satellite (HTS)/VHTS Broadband VSAT Satellite Network Platforms, Terminals and network solutions, today announced that it has been selected by Space Communication Technologies (SCT) to supply an HTS Multiple Spot Beam (MSB) Broadband VSAT Network. The network to be supplied incorporates SpaceBridge’s unique ASAT System including its turnkey WaveSwitch, Point-to-MultiPoint Satellite Broadband Platform technology.

Tempe, Ariz., June 29, 2020-- Comtech EF Data Corp. received a delivery order in support of a recently awarded contract for engineering services from a large prime U.S. Department of Defense (“DoD”) contractor. This latest delivery order is for US$1.8 million to support a critical Air Force and Army Anti-jam Modem (“A3M”) program under the U.S. Space Force’s Space and Missile Systems Center (“SMC”). The $4.7 million contract has been funded US$2.3 million to date.

Madrid, Spain, June 24, 2020--HISPASAT, the Spanish telecommunications satellite operator, has won a contract with Artel to embed the U.S. Space Force’s Space and Missile Systems Center’s Pathfinder 2 mission on its Amazonas Nexus Satellite, which is expected to be launched in mid-2022. The project is led by Artel, the global secure communications network systems integrator certified by the US Department of Defense and supported by Hunter Communications, the satellite communication solutions provider.

Madrid, Spain, June 18, 2020--HISPASAT, the Spanish telecommunications satellite operator, has signed an agreement with Telefónica in Spain for the multi-year renewal of the satellite service that the Spanish multinational offers to both companies as well as public agencies. This way, HISPASAT will continue to offer a service that it has been providing to Telefónica for more than 15 years through the European footprint of its H30W-6 satellite.

Barcelona, Spain, June 16, 2020--Spanish satellite operator Hispasat joins the 5GMED consortium, with a global investment of 16 million  euros of which 75% is financed by the European Commission.  The consortium aims to bring a sustainable 5G deployment model for future mobility in the Mediterranean Cross-Border Corridor. The project will be launched in September 2020 and will be implemented until November 2023.
