Irdeto today announced the appointment of Richard Scott as SVP of Sales and Marketing. His new role with Irdeto will encompass strategic planning for key accounts, new business acquisition, developing new growth opportunities, leading Irdeto’s global sales and marketing team.

Boeing has named Craig R. Cooning president of its Network & Space Systems (N&SS) businesses, effective immediately. Cooning succeeds Roger Krone, who took a position at another company.

Aireon LLC, developer of the world's first space-based global air traffic surveillance system, has appointed Cyriel Kronenburg as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the company. Effective Monday, June 23, Kronenburg will join Aireon to lead the global sales and marketing efforts and support the adoption of space-based ADS-B surveillance services by the world's air navigation service providers (ANSP) and airlines.

PCCW has announced the appointment of Srinivas Bangalore Gangaiah as its Group Managing Director effective from July 14th. Srinivas will succeed George Chan, who will retire from his position as the Group Managing Director of PCCW following completion of his contract with the company on July 7.

SpeedCast announced the appointment of Michael Malone as a non-executive Board Director and the appointment of John Mackay as Chairman of the Board.  John Mackay is current SpeedCast Board Member and former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of TransACT Communications Pty Ltd.

.Mackay takes over the Chairman role from Edward Sippel, Managing Director for TA Associates, who will continue to serve on the Board.

At the NAB 2014 in Las Vegas, Satellite operator Hispasat launched the first full-time 4K TV channel for North and Central America.  Hispasat's Sales Director Ignacio Sanchis presented the new channel.
