Es’hailSat, the Qatar Satellite Company, and EgyptSat have signed multi-year satellite capacity agreement for EgyptSat to provide VSAT services to their customer base located in Egypt and spread across the Middle East and North Africa region. This agreement follows from the partnership signed last year between both companies to leverage the combined satellite services as well as the wide ground infrastructure of both companies that brings with it the latest technologies in satellite communications and VSAT technology.

The World Teleport Association’s (WTA) 2025 Top Operators rankings offer more than a snapshot of industry leadership. They also highlight a defining trend shaping today’s satellite and connectivity marketplace: the growing link between commercial success and certified, standards-based ground infrastructure.

As part of its move towards service provision and end-to-end connectivity, Orbital Connect has developed a ready-to-operate ground segment solution for LEO earth observation.  LEO satellites have the advantage of low latency and high bandwidth, however, they also have the disadvantage of moving rapidly, relative to any fixed point on earth, passing over in only six to twelve minutes.  This means that in order to maximize their potential, a robust ground segment is essential.  Reliability is not optional, it directly determines how much data can be captured during each satellite pass and whether critical imagery can be preserved.
