An industry-led body that represents Scotland’s fast-growing space sector has appointed Dr. Natasha Nicholson as its new Chief Executive Officer, following an extensive and highly competitive recruitment process.

The Board of Directors of Eutelsat (ISIN: FR0010221234 - Euronext Paris / London Stock Exchange: ETL) approved the co-optation of Eric Labaye as a Board member and his appointment as Chairman of Eutelsat Communications and Eutelsat SA on the occasion of the Board Meeting of 4th August 2025. He succeeds Dominique D’Hinnin who had announced his decision not to seek the renewal of his mandate on February 14th, 2025. Eric Labaye’s appointment is effective on 4th August 2025.

A distinguished leader in the space industry with more than 30 years of experience defining and delivering complex space solutions and service strategies for customers, Singh joins MDA Space at a pivotal time as the space market and the company expand globally.

The Space Data Association has appointed Brian Swinburne, Space Surveillance and Intelligence Manager at Airbus Defence and Space as a Standard Member Director. Erika Rossetto, Flight Dynamics Manager at Embratel Star One was also re-elected Standard Member Director for her third term.

Space & Satellite Professionals International (SSPI) has opened nominations for the 2025 Better Satellite World Awards. Every December at the Better Satellite World Awards Dinner in London, SSPI honours three organisations that have demonstrated the use of satellite to make a significant contribution to human welfare, good governance, safety, peace and security, improved education or other measures of human achievement.

SES today announced its Board of Directors has appointed Elisabeth (Lisa) Pataki as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective 16 June 2025. Lisa is a progressive finance executive with over 20 years of experience at various publicly listed multi-national aerospace and defence companies with strong background in company transformation and investment strategies. She will succeed Sandeep Jalan who has been SES’s CFO since May 2020.
