Intelsat announced today that its Chief Financial Officer, Jacques Kerrest, plans to retire. Intelsat said he will continue in his role through the spring until a successor is appointed to ensure a smooth transition of duties.
Avanti Communications Group announced today the appointment of sales and customer services executive, Libby Barr, as Chief Operating Officer, Customer. Barr will also sit on Avanti’s Executive Committee, effective immediately.
In a newly created role, Barr will report to Group CEO, Kyle Whitehill, and will be responsible for managing the execution of Avanti’s end-to-end customer relationship. She will oversee global Sales, Wholesale, Product Management, Marketing and Commercial.
