AQYR Technologies has announced the appointment of Virgil Russell as their new Director of Sales and Marketing.  He will succeed Rory Eddings who is taking over as AQYR’s Manager of Commercial Sales.

OneWeb, which is building the world’s highest throughput satellite system to enable affordable, high-speed, low latency broadband access for all has  announced the appointment of Adrian Steckel as Chief Executive Officer and Eric Béranger as President and Chief Operating Officer.

The Global VSAT Forum (GVF) announced today the appointment of David Meltzer to serve as its Secretary General effective 27 August 2018. Meltzer brings over twenty five years of experience in the satellite industry, including serving as a board member for both a regional satellite operator and for a mobile satellite operator.

Kacific Broadband Satellites has appointed Brandon Seir as vice president, sales and marketing – Asia & International Carriers. Seir is a marketing, sales and strategic planning specialist with over a decade of experience working in leading international telecommunications, internet service providers and digital technology companies.

Southwest Microwave, Inc. has appointed Michelle Roe as President. She succeeds Richard McCormick, who has transitioned to Chairman and CEO.

XipLink announced today that Edson Meira of Sao Paulo Brazil has joined the XipLink team as the lead executive in Latin America. The Latin America market has been growing rapidly for XipLink with large wins during the last year in Mexico, Brazil, Bolivia, Ecuador, Chile and several other countries.
