Gilat Satellite Networks (NASDAQ: GILT) announced today that Erez Antebi, has decided to step down from the position of CEO. Dov Baharav, Gilat’s Chairman of the Board will assume the position of interim CEO until a new CEO is appointed. The transition between Baharav and Antebi will take place during the second quarter of 2015. Baharav will remain Gilat's Chairman of the Board.

The World Teleport Association (WTA) today announced that its Board of Directors has elected James Trevelyan, Sales Director at Arqiva Satellite & Media, as its new Chairman effective April 1. Mr. Trevelyan replaces M. Brett Belinsky, Managing Director of EMEA at Encompass Digital Media, who has served as Chairman of the Board since 2011 and is stepping down from the Board at the end of his final term.

Villarreal will be honored during WTA’s Teleport Awards for Excellence luncheon on March 17 during SATELLITE 2015. The Teleport Executive of the Year award is presented to an individual for demonstrated entrepreneurship, leadership and innovation in the development or operation of a teleport-based business.

Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd (SSTL) has appointed Patrick Wood as Group CEO, with effect from April 1, 2015. Wood joins SSTL from Airbus Defence and Space, where he was most recently Head of Engineering and Operations and an Airbus Group Executive.
