Abu Dhabi, UAE, February 2, 2015

Ericsson (NASDAQ:ERIC) has strengthened its partnership with twofour54, the commercial arm of the Media Zone Authority - Abu Dhabi, through the acquisition of its current playout business, initially providing playout services for nine different channels.

The agreement, which comes as part of a long-term partnership, recognizes the important role of the private sector in supporting twofour54 in building Abu Dhabi's media industry ecosystem. For Ericsson, the acquisition provides an ideal springboard for its expansion into the region from its base in Abu Dhabi.

Cambridge, UK, February 2, 2015

Amino Technologies plc. a provider of  digital entertainment solutions for IPTV, OTT and in-home multimedia distribution, announced audited results for the fiscal year ended 30 November 2014. Revenues were in line with expectations at £36.2m (2013: £35.9m) with return to growth in the second half. Gross margin was up 1 percentage point to 46.3% (2013: 45.3%)

Other highlights include:

- EBITDA before exceptional items increased by 11% to £6.7m (2013: £6.0m)

- Profit before exceptional items and tax increased by 23% to £4.2m1 (2013: £3.4m)

Imagine Communications today announced it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the assets of RGB Networks, Inc., a  provider of multiscreen video delivery solutions based in Sunnyvale, California. The transaction, subject to customary approvals and closing conditions, will include the majority of RGB Networks’ employees.

L-3 Communications (NYSE:LLL) announced today that it acquired the assets of MITEQ, Inc. for U$ 41 million..The business will be combined with L-3’s Narda Microwave-East business located in Hauppauge, N.Y., and the new organization will be called L-3 Narda-Miteq.

Moscow, Russia, January 21, 2015

Russian President Vladimir Putin supported Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev’s proposal to merge Roscomos and the United Rocket and Space Corporation into a single state-run company, which will also be called Roscosmos according to Russian news agency TASS.

The current Director-General of the United Rocket and Space Corporation, Igor Komarov, will be heading the new company.

For the quarter ended December 31, 2014, consolidated home entertainment solutions provider Netgem announced a consolidated revenue of € 14.3 million, bringing total consolidated revenue for 2014 to € 72.5 million, down 11% compared to 2013.

Over 2014, Netgem Group's development in Europe, Latin America and Asia did not offset the termination of decoders delivery in Australia in the last quarter, as announced in early October 2014. However, the group will continue to provide software maintenance for the decoders base in Australia (currently more than 700,000).

Boeing [NYSE: BA] has completed production of the world’s first all-electric propulsion satellites for ABS and Eutelesat as preparations continue to launch the satellites, as a vertically stacked pair, next month.

The Boeing 702SP (small platform) satellites are affordable and lightweight, and provide more options for movement to different orbital positions. The 702SP is one of three new satellite designs Boeing has introduced in four years, the others being the 702MP and 502 Phoenix.
