RRsat Global Communications Network Ltd., a provider of digital content management and global content distribution services to the broadcasting industry, announced today the expansion of its U.S. sales team with industry veterans, Rick Phelps and Dante Neyra, to strengthen its presence and capabilities within the North and Latin American markets.

BBC Worldwide, the commercial arm of the BBC, announces today the appointment of Tobi de Graaff to the role of Executive Vice-President (EVP) for Western Europe. De Graaff will oversee all of BBC Worldwide’s businesses across German and French speaking markets in Europe, as well as Benelux, Scandinavia, Italy and Iberia.  He will be responsible for all TV and Digital sales, Channels, Production and Format sales, Licensing and Publishing as well as Live Events across Western Europe.   The position was previously held by David Weiland who took up the post of EVP Asia for BBC Worldwide in May. 

Eutelsat Communications has appointed Leonard Wapler as Chief Financial Officer of Eutelsat Americas, based in Mexico City. Wapler joined Eutelsat in May 2011 and has been Head of Investor Relations since 2013. Joanna Darlington will become Eutelsat’s Head of Investor Relations on 1 September, reporting to the CFO, Antoine Castarède.

Intelsat S.A. today announced that Patricia Cooper has been named as the company's Vice President, Government Affairs and Policy, effective August 25. In this newly created role, Cooper will be responsible for leading the company's U.S., European and other international government lobbying and advocacy activities and relationship management.
