DISH Network announced that it has appointed Steven Swain to lead its Programming Group. Swain, formerly a vice president of DISH’s Corporate Finance Group, is being promoted to senior vice president.In his new role, Swain will be responsible for the acquisition and renewal of programming content, including national network and cable channels, Latino content, local broadcast stations and premium services such as HBO, Showtime and Starz.

Broadcast system integrator TSL Systems, today announced the appointment of Ben Tompsett as its new UK Sales Manager.  In this newly created role, Tompsett is responsible for driving sales of the company's expanding portfolio of systems integration services across its existing client database, as well as developing new business opportunities in non-broadcast markets for the UK and Ireland.

KVH Industries, Inc.  announced today that Ms. Anneley Pickles has joined the company as Head of Business Development for the social network, the world’s largest online network dedicated to seafarers. One of her first priorities is overseeing Crewtoo Jobs, the online maritime jobs board that was launched last month to help match the right companies with the best seafarers.

Telenor Connexion today announced that Robert Bellwaldius has joined the company as VP of Operations. Bellwaldius was most recently Chief Operating Officer at Wireless Maingate.

MTN Government (MTNGOV), a subsidiary of  MTN Communications (MTN), announces the formation of an MTNGOV Advisory Board with veteran military, intelligence and industry business leaders. Members of the Advisory Board include: U.S. Marine Corps Major General George J. Allen (retired), U.S. Air Force Lieutenant General Albert J. KVH Industries, Inc. announced today that Candice Pascal has joined KVH as Vice President, Content Acquisition, to head the company’s efforts in managing commercial maritime distribution rights for entertainment content. Ms. Pascal, an experienced licensed-content executive based in Los Angeles, becomes KVH’s key person for securing and managing rights to the studio and independent film and television content that will be delivered via KVH’s new IP-MobileCast content delivery service.

Goldin Associates LLC  has acquired Summit Ridge Group, LLC (SRG), a valuation and financial advisory firm specializing in telecom, media and satellite communications.  Former SRG President and founder J. Armand Musey will lead Goldin’s enhanced communications group.

Romain Bausch stepped down as CEO of SES at the  company's April 3rd Board Meeting. During the same meeting, Bausch was  appointed as Chairman-elect of the Board of Directors. He will take over when current chairman Rene Steichen steps down at the end of this year.

Jan Koeppen, who has served as Chief Operating Officer for 21st Century Fox, Europe and Asia since April 2009, has been named President of Europe and Africa for FOX International Channels, a 21st Century Fox subsidiary.
