Satellogic, a provider of high-resolution satellite data collection, and CF Acquisition Corp. V (Nasdaq: CFV) (“CFAC V”), a special purpose acquisition company sponsored by Cantor Fitzgerald, announced today that they have entered into a definitive merger agreement that will result in Satellogic becoming a publicly traded company.
The transaction is expected to be completed early in the fourth quarter of 2021, subject to regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions. After closing, Satellogic will trade on the Nasdaq under ticker symbol SATL.

The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) today signed an agreement with the Government of Romania for the hosting of the ITU Plenipotentiary Conference 2022 (PP-22) in Bucharest. ITU's supreme governing body is set to convene from 26 September to 14 October 2022 at the Palace of the Parliament in the Romanian capital.
The Honorable Stephanie L. O’Sullivan was elected chair of The Aerospace Corporation Board of Trustees, effective June 11. Retired U.S. Air Force Gen. Paul J. Selva will serve as vice chair, replacing O’Sullivan in this role.O’Sullivan was elected to the board in June 2017 and elected vice chair in December 2019. She has served the Intelligence Community throughout her career, most recently as principal deputy director of National Intelligence in the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI). She also served as the associate deputy director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), working with the director and deputy director in the overall leadership of the agency and day-to-day management of the organization.
Iridium Communications Inc. (NASDAQ: IRDM) today announced that Greg Pelton will join the company as Chief Technical Officer (CTO), effective June 17, 2021. Reporting to Iridium Chief Operations Officer Suzi McBride, Pelton is taking over for retiring CTO Hermon Pon and will lead Iridium’s world-class technology and system engineering teams both internally and with Iridium’s vast partner ecosystem.
