Satellite network operator X2nSat has reached a definitive agreement to purchase On Call Communications, a leading provider of mobile satellite solutions.

In April of 2016, X2nSat and On Call Communications announced their formal partnership to expand and enhance satellite resources to each of their customer bases. Over the last two years this has meant increased reliability, increased stability, and vastly expanded availability of service in both capacity and geographic footprint.

Arianespace has successfully launched four more satellites in the Galileo constellation. Liftoff was at 8:25 a.m. (local time) July 25, 2018 from the Guiana Space Center, Europe’s Spaceport in Kourou, French Guiana.

LeoSat Enterprises, which is launching a constellation of low-earth-orbit communications satellites providing the fastest, most secure and widest coverage data network in the world, has entered into an agreement with Hispasat, the Spanish national satellite operator, to invest in LeoSat, both companies announced today. Baylin Technologies Inc. (TSX: BYL) announced today that it has entered into a share purchase agreement to acquire all of the issued and outstanding shares of Alga Microwave Inc. for total consideration of CDN$ 27 million, consisting of up-front cash consideration of CDN$ 21 million, CDN$ 4 million in Baylin shares, and CDN$ 2 million in deferred consideration. It also agreed to purchase Alga’s operational facilities in Kirkland, Quebec.
