Comtech EF Data Corp., which is part of Comtech’s Commercial Solutions segment, received an additional $9.8 million delivery order against the US$ 59.0 million indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract previously awarded by the U.S. Naval Warfare Systems Command.

LP Technologies (LPT), a manufacturer of spectrum analyzers and satellite-based spectrum monitoring software, announced today that a large US direct-to-home provider has signed a 5-year purchase agreement with LP Technologies.  The solution chosen is LPT’s ASM software with the WEB module and the LPT-3000RX4 8 port rack mounted spectrum analyzer.  The initial purchase in mid-September 2018 exceeded one million US dollars.

WORK Microwave has announced that it has partnered with the Technical University of Munich, Institute of Astronautics, to conduct a comprehensive field test on DVB-S2X and Adaptive Coding and Modulation (ACM) technologies.

The main purpose of the field test was to prove that DVB-S2X modems with built in ACM technology significantly increase data throughput and service availability in any weather environment. The field test was also embedded into the CopKa research project environment.
