The most recent GVF-EMP Conference Partnership event in its Broadband Maritime Series, which for the first time co-located with an InterManager regional conference in its Shipping KPI Project, under the joint title of ‘Maritime Insights’, concluded with an across-the-board acknowledgement of its success. ‘Maritime Insights’ took place in two streams over 14th & 15th February 2012 at the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel, Singapore, and comprised the GVF-EMP ‘Broadband Maritime Offshore & Oceanic 2012: Information & Communications Networking Mobility South East Asia’ conference as Stream One on day one, with Stream Two on the second day featuring the Shipping KPI Project, InterManager’s shipping industry KPI standards event.
Stream One was chaired by Martin Jarrold, Chief of International Programme Development, and Co-Chairman of the Maritime SatCom Forum. Stream Two was chaired by Capt. Kuba Szymanski, Secretary General of InterManager.
In addition to the participation of many GVF member companies from the satellite communications industry, the shipping and ship management sector was represented by a wide range of organisations, including: AP Moller Singapore; B & H Equimar Singapore; Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement; BSM (Singapore); Chevron; Federal Offshore Services; Frantonios Marine Singapore; Gardline Shipping Gentay; Green Wave Shipping; Hanjin Shipping; InterManager; Ishima International Ship Management; Meiji Shipping Group; MMS Co Ltd Japan; MTM Ship Management Pte.
