Advantech Wireless Inc., a privately-held Canadian corporation and manufacturer of Satellite, RF Equipment and Microwave Systems announced today that it has successfully completed the deployment of a turnkey solution including its high power SapphireBluTM Series of UltraLinearTM GaN technology based SSPAs for a major military customer in Latin America.
The solution included the deployment of the first Hub earth station to access MEXSAT’s newest member of the fleet, MEXSAT-3 (Bicentenario) and the powerful redundant combination of Advantech Wireless’s 500W C-Band UltraLinearTM GaN based SSPAs integrated with one 9.3m antenna. The remote antennas and RF subsystems were also provided as part of this contract.
