A new report by analyst firm Strategy Analytics says that this number will grow to 67 percent by 2016. While most bundles today are “double play,” comprising two services, “triple” and “quad play” bundles will become increasingly popular over the next five years.

India will lead the sector with 45 million pay DTH homes in 2016, followed by the US with 36 million. However, penetration will be highest in South Africa (47%) and Ireland (41%).
