RigNet Rotates Key Line Executives
Houston, Tex., July 15, 2014- RigNet, Inc., a global provider of managed remote communications solutions, telecoms systems integration services and collaborative applications to the oil and gas industry, today announced several key executive moves: Chris Lambert is now the Region Vice President, Gulf of Mexico; Brian Keefover is now the Region Vice President, North America Land; and Ricky Begnaud is now the Region Vice President, Middle East/North Africa/Central Asia.
These moves are being made in response to high business activity, continued integration of Inmarsat's Enterprise Energy business unit and for management development purposes, according to the company.
Lambert most recently served as Region Vice President, Middle East/North Africa/Central Asia, based in Doha, Qatar. In his new role as Region Vice President, Gulf of Mexico, he will be based at the region headquarters office in Scott, Louisiana. The Gulf of Mexico region is RigNet's largest by revenue, with RigNet offering a differentiated package of access technologies to oil and gas customers that includes microwave, WiMAX, VSAT and L-band solutions. Lambert has held general management and operations positions of increasing responsibility over his almost ten years at RigNet. Prior to RigNet, he was a field engineer at Halliburton. Lambert holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Engineering Technology from Northwestern State University.
Keefover most recently served as Region Vice President, United States, based in Houston, Texas, at the Company's global headquarters. In his new role as Region Vice President, North America Land, also based in Houston, he will lead RigNet's managed remote communications business that serves onshore drilling, completion and production sites from 13 service centers strategically placed across North America. In addition, he will manage the M2M SCADA business, recently acquired from Inmarsat, that serves the midstream pipeline industry in the Continental US. Keefover has had a long and distinguished career in the remote communications industry, including over six years at RigNet in roles of increasing responsibility that have included leading global operations and overseeing RigNet's strategic expansion into serving offshore production facilities.
Begnaud most recently served as Operations Manager, Western Hemisphere, based in Scott, Louisiana. In his new role as Region Vice President, Middle East/North Africa/Central Asia, he will be based at the Company's region headquarters in Doha, Qatar. Begnaud has also had a long and distinguished career in remote communications, including 14 years at RigNet and a predecessor company. Earlier RigNet positions have included leading RigNet's US Land and Gulf of Mexico regions.
