Senior Executives from Asia, North America and South America Join the WTA Board of Directors

New York City, NY, April 1, 2016– The World Teleport Association (WTA) today announced the election of two new members of its Board of Directors for three-year terms beginning April 1, 2016: Michael DeMarco, Senior Vice President, Operations, Intelsat and Jose Edio Gomes, Technical Director, Hispamar Satélites.

Avi Cohen, CEO of RR Media, was also appointed to fill a vacant seat on the Board.

“WTA benefits enormously from the willingness of these top decision-makers to contribute their time and expertise to the Board,” said executive director Robert Bell. “Our Board represents all the critical segments of the teleport and satellite industry, and we are very grateful for their participation.”
