Cobham is unveiling its latest high performance VSAT antenna at Monaco Yacht Show 2013. The Sailor 800 VSAT is a 3-axis stabilised Ku-band antenna system with an 83 cm reflector dish, which provides the same radio performance as competing 1m antennae. Cobham’s new antenna is ideal for yacht installation because it ensures reliable near-global high throughput connectivity for email, web browsing, IP applications, VPN, conference calling etc., in a radome sized to look at home on any luxury vessel.
C-COM Satellite Systems Inc.,a global provider of mobile auto-deploying satellite antenna systems, announced today that Hughes Network Systems has qualified the new generation iNetVu® Ku 981 antenna system for use with Hughes HN/HX Systems.
The iNetVu® 981 mobile antenna is one of the new generation of auto-pointing antenna terminals which C-COM started manufacturing last year. The Hughes certification will allow the new antenna to be deployed on all networks around the world that use Hughes HN/HX Systems satellite equipment.
