Hispasat, the Spanish satellite telecommunications operator, has signed an agreement with the Algerian satellite Internet service provider Divona Algerie to provide remote control service in the Medgaz underwater pipeline, which connects Algeria and Spain. The service, which is already operational by means of Hispasat capacity on the satellites at 30º West orbital position; it connects three points, two in the Spanish province of Almería and the other in the Algerian region of Bou Chekif.
