Iridium Announces First-Quarter 2016 Results; Company Affirms 2016 and Long-Range Outlook

Mclean, VA., April 28, 2016--Iridium Communications Inc. (Nasdaq:IRDM) today reported financial results for the first quarter of 2016 and affirmed its full-year 2016 and long-range outlook. Net income was US$ 28.5 million, or US$ 0.23 per diluted share, for the first quarter of 2016, as compared to US$ 21.0 million, or US$ 0.17 per diluted share, for the first quarter of 2015.  Operational EBITDA ("OEBITDA") for the first quarter was US$ 60.7 million, as compared to US$ 52.5 million for the prior-year period, representing a year-over-year increase of 16% and an OEBITDA margin of 58%. OEBITDA grew primarily due to higher government service revenue and increased sales of subscriber equipment, as well as to lower manufacturing costs on certain product lines.

Telesat Reports Slight Revenue Increase in 1st Quarter 2016

Ottawa, Canada April 28, 2016-Telesat Holdings Inc.  today announced its financial results for the three month period ended March 31, 2016. Telesat reported consolidated revenues of CDN$ 235 million, an increase of approximately 3% (CDN $6  million) compared to the same period in 2015.

C-COM Reports 10% Revenue Increase in First Quarter 2016

Ottawa, Canada, April 19, 2016-- C-COM Satellite Systems Inc. (TSXV: CMI), a global provider of mobile auto-deploying satellite antenna systems, announced today financial results for its first quarter ended February 29, 2016. The company has generated revenues of US$ 2,433,713 and a net after tax profit of US$ 308,547 or 1 cent per share. This compared to revenues of US$ 2,201,578 and a net after tax profit of US$ 376,431 or 1 cent per share as reported in Q1 2015, representing an increase of 10.5% and a decrease of 18.0% respectively.

ORBCOMM to Acquire Skygistics (PTY) Ltd.

CANAL+ Group Acquires Alterna’TV from Eutelsat Americas

Paris, France, April 7, 2016-CANAL+ Group, through its subsidiary THEMA, announces the acquisition from Eutelsat Americas of Alterna’TV, a Miami-based content distribution company. Alterna’TV is a content distribution platform that provides principally Latin American channels to cable and Internet TV operators in the United States.
