414 million Cellular lines in the Arab World

Amman, Jordan,  February 23, 2016--By end of March 2015, mobile operators in nineteen Arab countries had 414 million cellular lines, up from 413.6 million at yearend 2014, a mere growth of 0.1%. A new report from Arab Advisors Group analyzes and ranks cellular operators in the Arab World. The three cellular operators in Egypt; Vodafone, Mobinil and Etisalat were the largest Arab cellular operators in terms of subscriptions by end of March 2015.

44 Operators in 17 Arab Countries Commercially Offer 3G/3.5G/3.75/3.9G

Amman, Jordan, January 20, 2016--A new report from the Arab Advisors Group provides an analysis of the 3G/3.5G/3.75/3.9G services landscape in the Arab World. The research revealed that during the period between May 2014 and October 2015, four more operators deployed 3G networks in the Arab World; increasing the number of operators with 3G/3.5G/3.75/3.9G services to forty four operators. The most common 3G/3.5G/3.75/3.9G service offered by the operators is mobile Internet, followed by video calling and mobile TV.
