SintecMedia Makes Acquistion Offer for Pilat Media

Tel Aviv, Israel, Janaury 16, 2014--SintecMedia announced a deal for the potential acquisition of Pilat Media and its merger into SintecMedia. The deal is worth approximately US$103 million. A large number of shareholders of Pilat Media have agreed to sell at the offered price and subsequently the board of Pilat Media decided to recommend the deal to all its other shareholders.

Pace FY2013 Results Expected to be Ahead of Guidance

Echostar Acquires Solaris Mobile

Englewood, Colo., January 6, 2014--EchoStar Corp. announced today that it has acquired 100% ownership of Solaris Mobile Ltd, a next-generation mobile satellite services (MSS) operator based in Dublin, Ireland and one of the European Union licensees of mobile satellite service with a complementary ground component (S band).

Inmarsat Closes Deal on Globe Wireless

London, UK, January 3, 2014--Inmarsat today confirmed that it had completed regulatory and other approvals in relation to its US$ 45 million purchase of Globe Wireless, the Florida-basedprovider of value-added maritime communications services to the shipping market.  As a consequence, Inmarsat has now completed its acquisition of Globe Wireless.

Eutelsat Communications Completes Acquisition of SATMEX

Paris, France, January 2, 2014--Eutelsat Communications today announced the closure of the transaction to acquire 100% of the share capital of Satélites Mexicanos, S.A. de C.V. (Satmex) having obtained all required government and regulatory approvals. As previously oreported, the transaction amounts to US$ 831 million.

Global Online TV and Video Revenues to Reach US$ 34.99 billion by 2018

Endemol Purchases 1/3 share of Israeli broadcaster Reshet

Tel Aviv, Israel, December 23, 2013--Production house Endemol has acquired a 33% share of Reshet, one of Israel’s leading broadcasters. The move is Endemol’s second acquisition in the country after taking in April 2013 a controlling share in Israel’s leading independent producer Kuperman, which has now become Endemol Israel.
