GLIC 2015: How to Get a Worldwide Approach to Innovation

Munich, Germany, June 18, 2015--The Global Space Innovation Conference dubbed GLIC 2015 to be held in Munich, Germany from 23-25 June 2015, co-organized by the International Astronautical Federation (IAF), the German Aerospace Center (DLR), the European Space Agency (ESA) and the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs and Media, Energy and Technology will welcome experienced entrepreneurs during Panel 2 and Panel 3 where the subjects of socioeconomic environment for entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial education and training will be analyzed and discussed with the audience.

Mr. Ken Davidian, AST Director of Research and Program Manager at FAA‘s Office of Commercial Space Transportation will lead the Panel 2 which will focus on sociological and economic conditions influencing the propensity to enterprise and foster innovation and entrepreneurship. Some prominent panelists such as, Dr. Gale Allen, Deputy Chief Scientist at NASA, Dr. Dmitry Payson, Director of Research and Analysis Center at United Rocket and Space Corp. and Ms. Claire Jolly, Head of OECD Space Forum will offer an interesting and uncommon discussion for the global space industry audience; The discussion will center on the economic factors that differ around the world and also the historic and current attitudes toward commerce.

The Panel 3, moderated by Dr. Michael K. Simpson, Executive Director of the Secure World Foundation and former President of the International Space University, will focus on the ability to enterprise as influenced by and directly related to entrepreneurial and business skills.

Among the panelists will be present Prof. Alessandro Golkar, Associate Director of SkolTech, Prof. Scott Hubbard, Director of Stanford Center of Excellence for Commercial Space Transportation and Prof. Walter Peeters, President of the International Space University (ISU) and Director of the International Institute of Space Commerce. This panel focuses on different approaches and topics of business training, reflecting a society’s unique views, constraints, and requirements. Can some techniques and topics be used world-wide?
