Echostar Reports Increased Profits in First Quarter 2015
Englewood, Colo., May 7, 2015--Echostar Corporation (SATS) has reported a 143.87 percent jump in profit for the quarter ended Mar. 31, 2015. The companyearned US$ 29.40 million, or US$ 0.36 a share in the quarter, compared with US$ 12.7 million, or US$ 0.14 a share for the same period last year.
Total revenue of US$ 799 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2015 compared to US$ 826 million for the corresponding period in 2014.
Operating income for the quarter was $81.20 million, compared with $59.82 million in the previous year period.
