PSSI Global Services Acquires New England Satellite

Las Vegas, NV, Nov 4, 2013 — PSSI Global Services LLC (PSSI), a leader in satellite transmission and event management, has acquired New England Satellite (NES).  The deal closed on November 1, 2013. Financial details of the acquisition were not revealed.

During the transition, PSSI general manager Matt Scalici will work with NES founder and president John Foley to integrate the operations, fleet and services of both companies. With existing offices and operations centers in Los Angeles and Las Vegas, PSSI will retain the Shrewsbury, Mass., facility that formerly served as NES headquarters, and will continue operation there. Six uplink trucks and several flyaway systems will also bolster the range of capabilities PSSI provides.

"PSSI is very pleased to welcome John Foley and the NES staff to our team," said PSSI CEO Robert Lamb.

"We've worked with John and NES for more than 30 years, and have valued their experience and expertise. The fleet of 6 Ku-band & C-band Satellite trucks, as well as 2 Flyaway systems and extensive production capabilities, will give PSSI greater capabilities and infrastructure to assist customers throughout the country."

John Foley said he is excited to become a part of the PSSI Global Services family and he sees the acquisition as a wonderful opportunity to be of even greater service to their clients on a national basis.

PSSI said seamless customer service is of paramount importance to the company as service agreements are integrated. This combination of resources and expertise will help fortify the robust deployment of PSSI resources globally, the company added.
