Synergy Core Completes Acquisition of SDN Global

Charlotte, NC, January 17, 2014-- Synergy Core, an IT infrastructure and Cloud Solutions company, announced today that the purchase of SDN Global has been completed. SDN Global provides fixed and mobile broadband VSAT connectivity services.

Larry Jones, remaining founder of SDN Global has been named CEO and is now co-owner of the Charlotte based satellite services company joined by co-owner James P. Burke of McKinney, TX. 

The acquisition, which pairs the infrastructure and operations of SDN Global with the enterprise applications of Synergy Core, enables organizations to leverage multiple global satellite and terrestrial network delivery channels from a single provider, while also achieving the capabilities and efficiencies of cloud-based applications, according to a company statement.

Synergy Core is a privately held Charlotte, NC based company that was formed in 2010. Synergy Core provides IT infrastructure and a broad range of mobility applications and workforce automation.
