Boeing to Acquire Liquid Robotics to Enhance Autonomous Seabed-to-Space Information Service

St. Louis, Mo.,  Dec. 6, 2016–Boeing [NYSE: BA] has entered into an agreement to acquire Liquid Robotics, a market leader in autonomous maritime systems and developer of the Wave Glider ocean surface robot, to grow its seabed-to-space autonomous capabilities.

Spacecom Signs Contract with Asiasat to Operate a Satellite at 4 degrees West

Tel Aviv, Israel, December 1, 2016--Spacecom (Tel Aviv Stock Exchange: SCC) today announced that it entered into an agreement with AsiaSat to relocate its AsiaSat 8 satellite, from its current orbital position to Spacecom’s 4°W orbital position. AsiaSat 8 will be co-located with AMOS-3, for a four (4) year period.

Spacecom to Recover Funds and Implement Plan to Procure New Satellite to Replace Amos-6

Tel Aviv, Israel, September 5, 2016--Spacecom announced today that it is developing a plan of action following the loss of the AMOS-6 communication satellite due to the explosion of SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket on the launch pad. The company has begun measures to recover funds invested in the project.

AsiaSat Reports 2016 Interim Results

Hong Kong, August 17, 2016--Satellite operator Asia Satellite Telecommunications Holdings Limited (‘AsiaSat’ – SEHK: 1135), today announced its 2016 interim results for the six months ended 30 June  2016. 1st Half 2016 revenue was HK$640 million, about the same as the prior period.
