Accion Systems Promotes Tom Phelps to Vice President of Product
Boston, Massachusetts, May 22, 2019 — Accion Systems today announced that Tom Phelps has joined the company as Vice President of Product. Phelps will lead the product strategy for Accion’s in-space propulsion system, as well as future technologies and products.
Phelps’ career has spanned the spectrum of robotics, semiconductor test and telecommunications industries. Prior to joining Accion, Phelps was senior director of New Products at Endeavor Robotics, formerly the government arm of iRobot. In that position, Phelps was responsible for developing robotic solutions that met the evolving mission needs of the defense, public safety and industrial markets. FLIR Systems acquired Endeavor in March 2019.
Prior to his role at Endeavor Robotics, Phelps held management positions in program management, product development, business development and technical operations at iRobot, Enterasys Networks, Appian Communications and IronBridge Networks.

Phelps holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Manufacturing Engineering and an MBA from Boston University.
