BridgeComm Names Michael Abad-Santos as SVP of Business Development and Strategy

​Denver, Colo., Dec. 11, 2019—BridgeComm, Inc., a profvider of optical wireless communications (OWC) solutions and services, today announced that Michael Abad-Santos has joined the company as senior vice president of business development and strategy. Abad-Santos’ 20-plus years of telecommunications and satellite experience will help BridgeComm grow its global market share of the commercial and government sector.

Abad-Santos’ most recent executive roles include Trustcomm chief commercial officer and senior vice president, Americas, at LeoSat Enterprises, where he led commercial activities, strategy development and execution in the Americas region, as well as government activities worldwide. At LeoSat, he also helped secure pre-series A investments from two strategic investment partners and more than US$ 2 billion in pre-launch memorandums of understanding for commercial services.

During a decade at Inmarsat, served as senior vice president of its global government division, and director of Department of Defense (DoD) solutions. He also is a consultant at the Software Engineering Institute at Carnegie Mellon University working with DoD leadership on the intersection of software engineering and space and weapons systems development.
