Conax Names Andreas Binderlehner as Representative in the D-A-CH Countries

Oslo, Norway, August 29, 2013 — Content security provider Conax has named Andreas Binderlehner as new Director of Area Sales for the German-speaking countries.Binderlehner will be responsible for development of business opportunities and expansion of sales of Conax Conditional Access and DRM solutions to cable, satellite, DTH and DTT operators, ISPs and telcos in the “D-A-CH” countries.

The German-speaking countries — Germany, Austria, Switzerland — represent a highly significant market for distribution of pay-TV and Over-the-Top content with a cumulative population of over 90 million inhabitants.

Erik Tordhol, EVP Sales, said Andreas brings extensive industry experience to Conax’ global sales team and drive business development in the D-A-CH region.

Binderlehner comes from senior positions at strategic players in the market. He joins Conax from Envivio, and previously worked for Verimatrix and SeaChange.
