Globecomm Appoints New CFO
Hauppauge, N.Y. – March 9, 2015 -- Globecomm is proud to announce Mr. Jason D. Juranek has joined their executive team as Chief Financial Officer, reporting to Keith Hall, Chief Executive Officer.
Prior to joining Globecomm, Juranek served as Vice President Division CFO of Harris CapRock a provider of comprehensive communications in remote and harsh environments serving Oil and Gas, Maritime and Government markets; a division of Harris Corporation. Juranek provided financial leadership globally and also led efforts on strategy, merger and acquisitions and managed select channel partners architecting their High Throughput satellite strategy. During his tenure, Juranek also served as Strategic Growth Officer focused on driving the strategic plan and initiatives; Integration Executive managing acquisitions and cross-functional teams that successfully closed the Schlumberger Global Connectivity Services and Core180 acquisitions, and; was VP of Finance and Treasury. His career spans over 20 years working with public and privately-held organizations to accelerate growth strategies, financial disciplines, financial operations and merger and acquisition strategies.
Prior to Harris CapRock, Juranek held various senior financial management positions at Vangent, General Dynamics and DynCorp. Mr. Juranek earned his Executive MBA from George Washington University and also holds an MS in Accounting and Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management.
