Telesat Government Solutions Names Wayne Sullens Senior Director of U.S. Government Programs
ARLINGTON, VA., February 24, 2025 – Telesat Government Solutions, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Telesat (NASDAQ and TSX: TSAT), today announced Wayne Sullens as Senior Director of U.S. Government Programs. In this role, Mr. Sullens will provide in-depth technical guidance to U.S. and Allied government agencies interested in leveraging the Telesat Lightspeed Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite constellation.
With a distinguished career spanning more than 35 years, Mr. Sullens is an industry veteran known for deep expertise in delivering SATCOM solutions to the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD). Most recently, he was Chief Engineer at The Aerospace Corporation, where he led the company’s aerospace and government divisions. His extensive experience and accomplishments are underscored by his 29 years of service in the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Navy Reserve Security Group Command. In addition, he also served as Systems Security Engineering Program Manager at Lockheed Martin Mission Systems, overseeing Range Standardization and Automation (RSA) IIA security architecture, regulatory compliance and customer acceptance.
