WRN Broadcast appoints Davies as Head of Sales and Business Development

​London, UK, August 15, 2013 - WRN Broadcast announced the appointment of Andrew Davies as the company’s Head of Sales and Business Development. Davies joins WRN Broadcast from TSL Middle East, where he was General Manager and instrumental in winning and delivering a number of high profile projects – including the award-winning, multi-million dollar Sky News Arabia project.

Based in Dubai since 2008, Davies had previously worked for several years in TSL’s UK Headquarters and during this time architected a number of successful designs for high profile clients including innovative file based solutions for Telkom Media, TVNZ and the Northern Ireland Assembly. Prior to joining TSL, Davies was with Siemens IT Solutions and Services and was responsible for managing a number of BBC projects involved with converging IT and broadcast platforms. Starting his career with BBC Technology, he worked across all areas of radio, television and IT including a period working at the BBC’s Research & Development facility at Kingswood Warren. 

WRN Broadcast introduced its OTT delivery service at NAB 2013 and recently announced a deal with Channel 4’s Box TV, which utilises the company’s innovative new AltoCloud solution, a part of this service.
