WTA Announces the Finalists for the 2025 Teleport Awards and the Teleport Executive of the Year
New York City, February 24, 2025–The World Teleport Association (WTA) today announced the finalists for its 2025 Teleport Awards for Excellence. From this group of finalists, WTA will name the winners at the 30th annual Teleport Awards for Excellence Luncheon, hosted by Network Innovations Advanced Networks, neXat and Calian, on March 11 during the SATELLITE conference in Washington, DC
WTA selects its finalists from nominations submitted to the association by both members and non-members. Recipients are selected by a vote of the WTA Membership.

WTA also announced that it will present the 2025 Teleport Executive of the Year Award to Adam Godwin, Head of Satellite at Telstra International. With a strong focus on customer experience and building value for partners, Adam leads the wholesale business to grow global satellite customers such as SpaceX, Amazon Kuiper, Telesat, OneWeb, Intelsat, SES and Inmarsat with major deployments in Asia Pacific.
Prior to this role, Adam took charge of Telstra’s wholesale business in EMEA, with responsibility for developing and driving the business strategy, as well as wholesale, satellite, and OTT customer relationships. Based in London, Adam has over 25 years’ experience in the telecoms industry, having held a number of roles at Verizon, AAPT and Pacnet prior to joining Telstra. He is a dual national of the United Kingdom and Australia, where he spent a decade building his career. Outside of work, Adam is a father of four, as well as a keen footballer and coach.

The attendees of the Teleport Awards for Excellence Luncheon will include teleport, satellite and content distribution technology industry executives, as well as previous awards recipients from around the world. The event is free for WTA members, and attendance is also available on a paid basis to non-members.
