Advantech Wireless releases New 100W Ku-Band GaN based Airborne Grade SSPB/BUC

Montreal, Canada, November 19, 2014–Advantech Wireless, a privately-held Canadian corporation and manufacturer of Satellite, RF Equipment and Microwave Systems today announced the release of the new 2500-G Series 100W Ku-Band GaN Technology based Airborne Grade SSPB/BUC designed to meet stringent commercial airborne specifications.

The new Airborne Grade Ku-Band GaN based SSPB/BUCs provide high linearity and high energy efficiency. The units are ARINC 791 compliant and are ideal for Airborne SATCOM applications.

The design of the 2500-G Series Ku-Band GaN Based Airborne Grade BUCs is based on Advantech Wireless’s industry proven reliable solid-state high power amplifiers.  These new Ku-Band GaN BUCs are weatherproof and ready for high order modulation schemes.
