CPI Vertex Antennentechnik to Purchase Custom Components from RF-Design
Lorsch, Germany, March 3, 2025--CPI Vertex Antennentechnik GmbH, a global leader in innovative antenna systems and part of the Communications & Power Industries (CPI) group of companies, has agreed to purchase custom components from RF-Design GmbH, a specialist in high-quality RF solutions and signal distribution technology, for itsgateway antenna systems that are being used in lunar and military communications networks.
In 2023, CPI Vertex Antennentechnik was selected to provide 20-meter X-band and Ka-band antennas for telemetry, tracking and control (TT&C) applications and other services to support KSAT’s purpose-built commercial network for lunar communications. The antennas are compliant with the requirements of planned lunar relay satellite constellations and NASA’s LEGS program, in which CPI is also participating.
