NBC Olympics' Production of the 2014 Olympic Winter Games Utilize ScheduALL's Resource & Transmission Management Solutions
Hollywood, Fla. , February 4, 2014- ScheduALL has once again been selected to provide transmission and resource management to NBC Olympics, a division of the NBC Sports Group, during its production of the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia, from February 6-23. The announcement was made today jointly by Craig Lau, Vice President, Information Technology, NBC Olympics, and Stefan Nied, Vice President, Worldwide Operations, ScheduALL.
NBC Olympics has again turned to ScheduALL's advanced resource management solutions to coordinate the highly dynamic environment of the Games. This will be the seventh straight Olympics for which NBCU has leveraged the expertise of ScheduALL's software and services group to orchestrate the logistics of people, equipment, locations and transmission feeds.

Prior to its first ScheduALL implementation for the Athens Olympic Games in 2004, NBC Olympics relied on a manual process for managing and scheduling feeds. ScheduALL manages critical information such as video router assignments and satellite uplink scheduling, and automatically passes the information to downstream systems to facilitate on-air coverage for each feed.
