January 29, 2018--Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (NASDAQ: CMTL) announced today that during its second quarter of fiscal 2018, its Tempe, Arizona-based subsidiary, Comtech EF Data Corp., which is part of Comtech's Commercial Solutions segment, was awarded a multi-million dollar infrastructure equipment order from Telesat, a leading global satellite operator. Telesat will utilize the equipment to support its multi-Gigabit enhanced connectivity solutions for remote communities in Canada's Far North.

Melville, N.Y.,January 18, 2018--Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (Nasdaq: CMTL) announced today that during its second quarter of fiscal 2018, its Enterprise Technologies group, which is part of Comtech's Commercial Solutions segment, has received $3.8 million of funded orders from a major Middle East service provider for a complete suite of Location Based Services (LBS) to be used to support multiple application deployments, including mobile devices and Internet of Things (IoT).

Tempe, Ariz., January 17, 2018--Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (NASDAQ: CMTL) announced today that during its second quarter of fiscal 2018, its Tempe, Arizona-based subsidiary, Comtech EF Data Corp., which is part of Comtech's Commercial Solutions segment, received a follow-on contract to provide long-term support for the Advanced Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) Interface Processor (ATIP) production terminals in support of the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR). This new contract is a 10-year IDIQ contract with a 5-year base and 5 one-year options. The total potential contract value is US$ 19.1 million.

Madrid, Spain, January 2, 2018--HISPASAT's Amazona 4 satellite has completed its transfer from its original position at 61^o West to its new orbital position at 74^o West. This means that the satellite, launched on 22 April 2014, will be the first in the fleet to provide commercial telecommunication services from this position, after HISPASAT's Brazilian subsidiary, HISPAMAR Satélites, obtained the exploitation rights in Ku band in 2015.
