Comtech Xicom Corp. Receives US$ 2.5 Million in Orders for Solid-State High-Power Amplifiers for Military Customers

Santa Clara, Calif. February 15, 2017-- Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (Nasdaq:CMTL) announced today that during its second quarter of fiscal 2017, its Santa Clara, California-based subsidiary, Comtech Xicom Technology Inc., which is part of Comtech's Commercial Solutions segment, has received US$ 2.5 million in orders to supply an array of solid-state high-power amplifiers to a military integrator. The orders included C-band, X-band and Ku-band SSPA products for use in highly mobile satellite communications (SATCOM) systems providing voice, data, video conferencing, internet and high resolution video connectivity for military forces deployed world-wide. Comtech Xicom's SSPA products feature robust designs ensuring highly efficient and reliable operation in challenging global environments.

ABS Issued Operator Licenses for Papua New Guinea

Hispasat Presents its Most Innovative Satellite: the H36W-1

Madrid, Spain, January 17, 2017--Today Spanish satellite and telecommunications operator HISPASAT presented their Hispasat 36W-1 satellite (H36W-1) at their headquarters in Madrid. The satellite will be put into orbit on January 27 using a Soyuz launch vehicle and will be launched from the European Spaceport of Kourou in French Guiana.
