(Nasdaq:CMTL) announced today that during its fourth quarter of fiscal 2018, its Tempe, Arizona -based subsidiary, Comtech EF Data Corp. , which is part of Comtech's Commercial Solutions segment, received a $2.3 million order for satellite modems from a major U.S. Department of Defense ( DoD ) contractor. The order specified the DMD2050E MIL-STD-188-165A/STANAG 4486 Edition 3 Compliant Universal Satellite Modem, which will be utilized to support the U.S. Army Project Manager (PM) Tactical Network.

Santa Clara, Calif., July 10, 2018--Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (NASDAQ:CMTL) announced today that during its fourth quarter of fiscal 2018, its Santa Clara, California -based subsidiary, Comtech Xicom Technology, Inc. , which is part of Comtech's Commercial Solutions segment, has received a contract for more than $4.8 million from a U.S. military integrator for high-power satellite communication (SATCOM) traveling wave tube amplifiers (TWTAs).

MADRID, June 28, 2018 -- Hispasat, the Spanish satellite telecommunications operator, has signed an agreement with the Algerian satellite Internet service provider Divona Algerie to provide remote control service in the Medgaz underwater pipeline, which connects Algeria and Spain. The service, which is already operational by means of Hispasat capacity on the satellites at 30º West orbital position; it connects three points, two in the Spanish province of Almería and the other in the Algerian region of Bou Chekif.
