Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (NASDAQ: CMTL) announced today that during its fourth quarter of fiscal 2020, its Santa Clara, California-based subsidiary, Comtech Xicom Technology, Inc., which is part of Comtech's Commercial Solutions segment, was awarded contracts valued at more than US$ 2.2 million for Ka-band high-power traveling wave tube amplifiers (“TWTAs”) for trailer-based satellite communications terminals.

SpaceBridge Inc., a privately held Canadian corporation and manufacturer of High Throughput Satellite (HTS)/VHTS Broadband VSAT Satellite Network Platforms, Terminals and network solutions, today announced that it has been selected by Space Communication Technologies (SCT) to supply an HTS Multiple Spot Beam (MSB) Broadband VSAT Network. The network to be supplied incorporates SpaceBridge’s unique ASAT System including its turnkey WaveSwitch, Point-to-MultiPoint Satellite Broadband Platform technology.

Comtech EF Data Corp. received a delivery order in support of a recently awarded contract for engineering services from a large prime U.S. Department of Defense (“DoD”) contractor. This latest delivery order is for US$1.8 million to support a critical Air Force and Army Anti-jam Modem (“A3M”) program under the U.S. Space Force’s Space and Missile Systems Center (“SMC”). The $4.7 million contract has been funded US$2.3 million to date.

HISPASAT, the Spanish telecommunications satellite operator, has won a contract with Artel to embed the U.S. Space Force’s Space and Missile Systems Center’s Pathfinder 2 mission on its Amazonas Nexus Satellite, which is expected to be launched in mid-2022. The project is led by Artel, the global secure communications network systems integrator certified by the US Department of Defense and supported by Hunter Communications, the satellite communication solutions provider.
