Mobile Connectivity 2019 Final Conference Programme Announced

London, UK, February 5, 2019 The GVF-EMP Partnership has announced final details of the populated programme for Mobile Connectivity 2019: Air, Sea, Surface, Rail – Evolving the New “New” Verticals taking place on February 27, 2019 at London’s ETC Venues, located at 8 Eastcheap, London EC3M 1AE.

Mobile Connectivity 2019 is supported by the GVF-EMP Portfolio Corporate SponsorsComtech EF DataHughesNewtec, and iDirect and is the latest event in an extended Partnership portfolio developed since 2006, and which will continue during 2019 with Oilfield Connectivity 2019 in Aberdeen in May, and Cellular Backhaul 2019 embedded within the 5G World and IoT World event – organised by Knect365 – at London’s ExCeL Centre in June.

The Mobile Connectivity 2019 event – for which around fifty key connectivity suppliers have already confirmed attendance – will examine some of the key themes, technological developments, and market trends that feature on the path to a universal via-satellite connectivity ecosystem, analysing latest developments in the satellite communications marketplace, the paradigm-changing launch of more-and-more high throughput satellite (HTS) payloads into geostationary orbit, and soon beyond current MEO orbital assets, to multiple LEO constellations, and the enablement of a multitude of new, awe-inspiring vertical markets.

Four interactive panel-discussion sessions, each featuring between four and five speakers – with a moderating team comprising Martin Jarrold, Chief of International Programme Development, GVF; Betty Bonnardel, CEO, AB5 Consulting; Anver Anderson, Managing Director, Anver Limited; and, Kevin French, Publisher, Talk Satellite – will be preceded by a backdrop presentation setting the thematic context of the programme given by Stéphane Chenard, Senior Analyst, Euroconsult.

The first session panel comprising David Burr, Vice President, Business Development, Comtech EF Data; Andrew Faiola, Head of Mobility, Newtec; Marco Mirante, Regional Sales Director, Hughes; Thomas Bopp, Director, Sales Systems Engineering Global Sales Engineering, VT iDirect; and, Nick Burrett, Senior Sales Director, SpeedCast will each initially offer brief presentations and engage in interactive dialogue with the conference audience on themes including: Space & Ground Segment for Mobility-Focused Markets; Unified Space & Ground Segment Optimisation; Earth Stations in Motion with High Throughput Satellites in MEO & LEO orbits; and, Seamless Integration & Multi-Technology Connectivity.
