The SATELLITE Conference & Exhibition Introduces New Experiences at SATELLITE 2025 and GovMilSpace 2025

Rockville, MD – February 19, 2025 –The SATELLITE Conference & Exhibition, the premier global gathering of the space and satellite industry, returns to Washington, D.C., this March 10-13, 2025, with an expanded agenda and new experiences. New features this year include the debut of GovMilSpace, the Mobility Forum conference track, dedicated meeting space in the Meeting Hub, and networking events in the Brew Lounge, plus the Tech Forum moving to the show floor. All conference programing and the exhibit hall are in the Walter E. Washington Convention Center where more than 450 exhibitors and 14,000 attendees have opportunities to gather over four immersive days of enterprise, insights, and innovation.

"SATELLITE and GovMilSpace are designed to foster growth across our industry. And, this week is packed with valuable opportunities for the satellite community to learn, connect, collaborate, and build the relationships that are critical to business,” said Jeffrey Hill, Executive Chairman of SATELLITE 2025. “Hundreds of speakers representing a mix of industries are on the agenda, including top executives from the leading global satellite providers and more government officials than we've ever had. We've also added exciting new networking events and interactive meeting spaces directly on the show floor. We encourage participants to take advantage of all SATELLITE 2025 has to offer.”

GovMilSpace 2025, developed in partnership with Defense Daily and the Satellite Industry Association (SIA), connects government and military satellite and space service providers with end-users. The 16 GovMilSpace conference sessions feature speakers from government and defense agencies, the intelligence community, and satellite and space industry partners who will discuss satellite imagery intelligence, upcoming missions, commercial partnerships, the benefits and risks of AI, and more. A dedicated GovMilSpace pavilion is also integrated into the show floor, and exclusive GovMilSpace networking opportunities highlight the agenda.

The new Mobility Forum is dedicated to mobile satellite and hybrid connectivity applications for consumers, emerging business verticals, and new markets in remote areas. Experts from both satellite and terrestrial/cellular industries will share insights on maintaining global connectivity with accessible, affordable, and high-speed service, and how satellites can be a catalyst for growth.

All Tech Forum sessions will now be easily accessible in the new Tech Theater centrally located on the show floor. Tech Forum panel conversations will cover consumer needs, product development, and the satellite industry’s latest engineering breakthroughs. Sessions in the Tech Theater begin on Tuesday, March 11, with the CTO roundtable, sponsored by Qorvo, on “The Future of Space and Satellite Hardware.”

Also new to the show floor are the Meeting Hub and Brew Lounge. The Meeting Hub offers a designated spot for one-on-one meetings. It’s open to all attendees and exhibitors, and meetings can be scheduled in the SATELLITE mobile app. The Brew Lounge is a relaxed space to enjoy a drink and network with colleagues and other show participants, and a location for companies to host sponsored receptions.

With more than 450 exhibitors, both scheduled Guided Exhibit Hall Tours and flexible self-guided tours are now available to help attendees navigate the show and meet the right vendors. Seven different tour options cater to specific technologies: Active Government & Military, Cellular/Wireless, International Exhibitors, Mobile End-Users – Air, Sea & Land, Tech Shoppers – Antennas, Hardware & More, MilSatCom, and Space Systems. Registered attendees can sign up to join the guided tours – space is limited – or access details for the self-guided tours.
