West African Media and Technology Experts to Discuss the Digital Transition Opportunity

Abidjan, Ivory Coast, December 12, 2014 — Eutelsat and the African Telecommunications Union (ATU) will be holding a conference in Abidjan, Ivory Coast on 15-16 December on the transition to digital broadcasting and telecommunications services across West Africa. Organized in cooperation with West African Economic and Monetary Union (WAEMU) and Economic Community Of West African States (ECOWAS), the conference will bring together ITU and World Bank experts in addition to ICT ministers, broadcasters, regulators, policy-makers and finance institutions from 15 countries in the region, from Senegal to Nigeria.

Myanmar moving towards ‘Satellite Sovereignty’ following the success of the country’s first Satellite Forum
