NatSatTel 2025 Virtual Conference to Highlight Key Trends in the Global Satellite Industry

Los Angeles, Calif., March 20, 2025--On April 2nd 2025, Intersputnik International Organization of Satellite Communications in partnership with Satellite Market and Research, a California-based publishing firm and online portal specializing in the global satellite industry, will hold an international online conference NatSatTel 2025 focusing on the theme of “Key Trends and Opportunities in the Global Satellite Industry”.

Now in its fourth edition, NatSatTel is an annual forum bringing together satcom industry professionals, experts, regulators, representatives of related international organizations, advisors, operators and vendors to discuss key aspects of the growth of the global satcom industry.  The conference attracted participants from 38 countries in Africa, Asia-Pacific, Middle East, North and South America, Central Asia and Europe representing all segments of the global satellite industry.

Leading experts from Analysys Mason and Novaspace, international analytical agencies, will present their insights of the current situation and forecasts for the growth of the global satcom industry. This year, the first panel discussion will address innovative services for satellite operators. The panel speakers will include both the forthcoming Non-Geostationary Orbit (NGSO) systems such as NEO Space Group, and traditional GEO Hight Throughput Satellite (HTS) operators such as Kacific Broadband Satellites, focused on the Middle East/Africa and Asia-Pacific markets, respectively. The second panel discussion will address the key technologies shaping the future of satellite communications.  Leading industry technical experts will discuss Direct-to-Cell, the future of satellite broadcasting, and the development of the ground-based segment of satellite networks.

This year, the traditional NatSatTel round table organized jointly with the (international Telecommunications Union (ITU) will focus on the region that will host the World Telecommunication Development Conference 2025 (WTDC-25)  on 17-28 November 2025 in Baku, Azerbaijan. Speakers from ITU, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan will discuss the advantages and opportunities of satellites in connecting the unconnected in Central Asia and the Caspian Sea region. A special focus will be made on the 160th anniversary of ITU, WTDC-25 agenda, and ITU initiative Girls in Information, Communications and Technology (ICT).
